In partnership with the State of Arizona, the Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA) has awarded grants to support small business owners who are relocating to Arizona.
The Arizona Small Business Association has awarded 21 businesses to receive the Locate48 Small Business Relocation Grant. The recently relocated businesses are looking to hire locals, contract with businesses in the community, and support Arizona’s growing infrastructure:
For some of these dynamic business owners, moving to Arizona has been a lifeline for their business. Many out of state business owners decided to move during the pandemic because of Arizona’s pro-small business policies and thriving economy which has flourished under Governor Doug Ducey’s leadership.
The Locate48 grant program was made possible by Governor Doug Ducey and his tireless efforts helping small businesses recover financially from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funds may be used for one or all of the following expenditure examples. Businesses who receive grant funding will be required to document how the funds are used and submit documentation to the Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA) as the funds are utilized, within six months from date of award. Expense reporting will be required at six months post-award. The funding should be used to support the growth of their Arizona-based entity and support local job seekers and businesses. Businesses that are selected to receive the Locate48 Grant funding may use the funds for program eligible expenses, including:
